Award of $1,000 to a USA or Canada fire safety teacher to recognize leadership and community safety improvement efforts. Nominations are invited on behalf of individuals working for local fire departments and marshall's offices. In addition to the cash award for the recipient, the local fire department or the fire marshal’s office will receive a $1,000 donation to support public education activities.

Grants of up to $15,000 to USA, Canada, and Mexico investigators to benefit wildlife populations. Funding is intended for innovative research projects related to developing appropriate methods for studying wildlife and reducing wildlife conflict. Studies using new methodologies or that involve the innovative use of existing technologies are particularly welcome.

Fellowships to USA, Canada, and International artists for professional development. Fellows will be mentored by scholars, practitioners, visiting artists, and curators and will be matched with high school apprentices. The program will conclude with an exhibition for the fellow and their apprentices. The fellowship will take place in New Haven, Connecticut.

Funding is available for researchers from all disciplines, including clinical, basic, and translational research. The purpose of funding is to support the investigator in becoming established as a fully independent investigator in the field of kidney disease.

Grants of up to $5,000 to USA, Canada, and International nonprofit organizations to provide therapeutic massages to cancer patients, survivors, and their families and caregivers. Funding is intended for patients undergoing treatment for breast cancer, their families and caregivers, and families who have lost loved ones to breast cancer.

Grants of $10,000 to Canada, Australia, and New Zealand restaurants for disaster relief. Funding is intended to support underinsured restaurants with disaster-related expenses in the wake of a government-declared natural disaster. Eligible uses of funds include operating expenses such as utilities, rent, supplies and materials, food and beverage inventory, and supplier costs.

Grants to Ontario charitable organizations for programs and activities that benefit youth in eligible locations. Funding is intended to assist youth at risk with a focus on innovative projects in the areas of education, health care, social services, arts and culture, and the environment. Funding is intended to provide a stipend to cover the student's expenses until graduation. During the scholarship period, students continue their projects related to solid waste issues and also work with scholars who will integrate them into industry events such as conferences and fundraisers, and facilitate visits to companies in the industry.

Videos must focus on one of the following three global issues: child well-being, rainforest ecosystems, and sanitation. Entries must be digital videos, no more than 60 seconds in length. Videos must include information about how population growth impacts the issue and at least one idea for a sustainable solution.

Grants of up to $30,000 to Ontario Indigenous youth-led groups for cultural and heritage-based projects. Funding is intended for research in the areas of mood, anxiety, and bipolar disorders; schizophrenia; and early-onset brain and behavioral disorders. The purpose of the grant program is to encourage promising investigators to pursue careers as independent research faculty.

Eligible individuals include artists, youth, educators, community leaders, Elders, and cultural creators. All funds must be spent supporting an Indigenous-led activity, event, or initiative.

Grants to Ontario registered charities, qualified donees, municipalities, sports organizations, and individuals in eligible locations for programs and services to enhance the quality of life for local residents. Funding is intended for projects in a wide range of focus areas, including but not limited to education, bereavement, arts and culture, the environment, and sports. Organizations must be based in, and projects must benefit the residents of, the Pembroke, Petawawa, and surrounding area. Sports grant applicants must be residents of Renfrew County.

Grants to Ontario qualified donees for community enhancement projects and programs in eligible regions. Focus areas include, but are not limited to, arts and culture, community development, health services, education, environmental causes, and recreation. Opportunity for USA, Canada, and International researchers to participate in a research working group for studies related to the environment. The purpose of the program is to fund and support groups of investigators working to develop and meet national conservation goals of the United States. These goals include pollution reduction, restoration of degraded ecosystems, elimination of invasive species, and strengthening nature's resilience. Research groups will meet in Santa Barbara, California and will conduct studies exploring climate change, fisheries, and ecological impact of management actions. In addition to funding to support travel, lodging, and per diem expenses, participating teams will benefit from facilities, training expertise, and cyberinfrastructure and logistical support.

Cooperative Agreement for a USA or Canada state and local government, IHE, nonprofit organization, or tribe in eligible areas to create a water quality monitoring system. The special focus of the monitoring will be toxic pollutants. Awardees will be expected to analyze the concentrations of contaminants in order to advance the understanding of contaminant cycling throughout food webs in the Great Lakes, and screen for emerging chemicals in fish tissue to identify priority chemicals warranting future study. Project must take place in states bordering the Great Lakes.

Cooperative Agreement for a USA or Canada agency, IHE, Tribe, or nonprofit organization to monitor and report on coastal wetlands in eligible areas. This project is part of a surveillance network to monitor water quality, and applicants must be capable of carrying out field sampling of coastal wetlands. This program is intended for the areas surrounding the Great Lakes, including the following: Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, Ohio, Ontario (Canada), Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.

Award of $500 to a USA or Canada high school astronomy teacher or educator to recognize exceptional contributions to astronomy education. Candidates for this award demonstrate outstanding teaching and commitment to planetarium- or classroom-based education, including the training of other educators.

Grant of $500 to a USA, Canada, or International teacher, counselor, or educator who instructs high school students to cover the costs associated with attending an educational conference. Applicants must register as an educator prior to applying. Funding may be used to support registration, accommodations, and travel expenses.

Grants of $2,500 to USA, Canada, and International high school teachers and counselors for financial assistance in attending professional development courses. Applicants are required to complete registrations prior to applying. Funding is intended to assist with tuition expenses and related costs associated with university courses taking place in Fall 2024, Spring 2025, or Summer 2025.

Grants to USA, Canada, and International organizations, filmmakers, and production companies for the creation of Holocaust-related films. Films should have an educational value and broad distribution potential. Funding may be requested for only one of the following three project phases: a) Development, b) Production, or c) Post-Production.

Grants of up to to $50,000 to Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and Ontario nonprofit organizations for programs to benefit vulnerable youth in eligible regions. Funding is intended for programs to support educational engagement and career readiness and pave the way to stable, successful employment and lift individuals out of poverty in the EPCOR community. Eligible applicants are located in Canmore, Chestermere, Edmonton, Kananaskis, Strathmore, Alberta; French Creek, British Columbia; Aylmer, Collingwood, Kincardine, Ontario; and Regina, Saskatchewan.

Grants of up to $7,000 to Canada registered charitable organizations for projects to relieve poverty in multiple locations. Funding is intended to support economic equity and social justice projects in the regions. Priority is given to projects that emphasize sustainable development. Eligible applicants must carry out community-based programs for poverty reduction in Latin America and Atlantic Canada.

Grants of up to $15,000 to USA, Canada, and International institutions and individuals for research and conservation projects related to wild cat species. Priority will be given to projects with a strong emphasis on conservation. Eligible proposals are those related to small cats species, namely all species of the family Felidae excluding the genera Panthera, Acinonyx, and the puma (Puma concolor).

Grants to Ontario property owners for the conservation, repair, and restoration of culturally significant properties in eligible regions. Funding is available for a broad range of activities, including roof and siding repairs, porch restoration, and exterior painting. Eligible projects are those located in the City of Mississauga.

Grants to Canada researchers affiliated with qualifying IHEs for collaborative social sciences and humanities research. Funding is intended to provide temporary support for joint research endeavors across a range of disciplines that will address the current pressing needs and challenges of non-academic organizations. Grants to USA, Canada, and International undergraduate and graduate science and engineering students to promote scientific achievements and excellence in research. Funding is intended to support hands-on learning and to encourage students and mentors to forge close working relationships.

Grants of $500 to USA, Canada, and International qualifying high school educators to provide enhanced opportunities for student organizations. Funding is intended to assist club sponsors and advisors of public and private high schools in supporting the student clubs they oversee. Requests will be accepted from club sponsors and advisors who are registered as educators with the funding source organization.

Opportunity for USA, Canada, and International startups to participate in an accelerator program to advance their company. Participants will have access to weekly consultations, an investor boot camp, a virtual demo day, networking opportunities, and the use of the funding source's startup program. The purpose of the program is to help entrepreneurs find the funding, tools, and community to scale their startups.

Fellowships to USA, Canada, and Greece graduate students to conduct research and fieldwork at an institution in Greece. The purpose of the program is to support the work of overseas students conducting studies in ancient Greek law or Greek students conducting work on local excavations. Fellowships will take place at the American School for Classical Studies at Athens or at excavations affiliated with the institution.

Grants to USA, Canada, and International individuals for political research at the funding source's facility in Michigan. Funding is intended to offset the cost of travel within North America and living expenses while conducting research. Eligible research addresses topics related to US foreign policy, national and domestic politics, and federal policies.

Fellowships with a $5,000 stipend to USA, Canada, or international PhD or graduate students for research on aspects of Greek history. Funding is intended for the study of the Athenian Agora, and the stipend is structured to cover lodging, visas, board, travel, and other incidental costs. Fields of study may include but are not limited to, all aspects of the history and material culture of the site.

Fellowships of $7,000 to USA, Canada, and International doctoral students for research related to political economy. Fellows will participate in colloquia related to developing techniques and strategies to explore themes and questions related to political economy. Eligible expenses include travel, accommodation, and meals.

Fellowships with stipends of $10,000 to USA, Canada, and International doctoral students enrolled at universities to pursue studies related to political economy. In addition to the stipend, the program will arrange lodging, airfare, and meals for fellows. Graduate students from any discipline may participate.

Fellowships to USA, Canada, and International PhD students to participate in online symposiums related to political economy. The purpose of the program is to support students who have a teaching or research interest in the subject. In addition to the stipend, fellows will have travel, accommodation, and meals covered by the program.

Opportunity for USA, Canada, and International doctoral students from any discipline to participate in a fellowship to explore themes related to political economy, including morality, markets, sociality, and culture. In addition to the $7,000 stipend, the fellowship includes travel and lodging to attend colloquia hosted by the Mercatus Center.

Opportunity for USA, Canada, and International graduate students to participate in a fellowship related to political economy. The purpose of the program is to offer opportunities for students to explore policy-relevant research, policy analysis, and other related topics.

Fellowships to USA, Canada, and International graduate students enrolled in accredited universities to participate in an online program to explore ideas and concepts related to political economy. Fellows may be studying a wide range of disciplines, including law, political science, economics, public policy, sociology, and history.

Grants of $250 and grants of $500 to USA and Canada young people for youth-led volunteer projects that address community needs. Funding is intended to support projects carried out by children and youth between the ages of 5 and 25 that provide opportunities for young volunteers from different social backgrounds to create meaningful connections with their peers, caring adults, and community partners, while developing social awareness and relationship skills. Projects must take place during Global Youth Service Day or Youth Service Month in the spring of 2025. $250 grantees will be required to engage at least 25 other youth as volunteers while $500 grantees have a 50-youth volunteer minimum requirement.
