- Funding needs
- Operational Funding is needed, as a Title III Senior Meal Program in one of the six poorest counties in North Dakota, we struggle with the high cost of food due to no grocery stores; we are forced to buy off the truck at a higher price. Title III funds barely cover our food costs and very little else. We need funds to help with the operational part of providing Title III meals.
We take donations for the meals; however, 25% of our seniors cannot afford to help.
We need funding to develop programs to help keep our seniors mentally active and participating in social programs that will keep them physically active instead of just relying on businesses and organizations to come and help with talking programs.
