The mission of the Be Anything Museum & Business Resource Center (BAM) is to inspire individuals of all ages to discover their potential, pursue their dreams, and be anything they aspire to be. Through interactive exhibits, youth career exploration, entrepreneurship education, business start-up resources, mentorship, and community partnerships, BAM creates opportunities for individuals to learn, grow, and succeed.

BAM is committed to empowering youth, aspiring entrepreneurs, small business owners, and women in business by providing access to education, resources, connections, and supportive relationships that help turn ideas into opportunities and opportunities into sustainable success.

BAM serves as a community hub where inspiration meets action, helping individuals build confidence, develop skills, launch and grow businesses, explore career possibilities, and contribute to a stronger and more vibrant community.

Programs or services
The Be Anything Museum & Business Resource Center (BAM) provides educational, entrepreneurial, and community-based programs designed to help people discover their potential and create pathways to personal and economic success.

Youth Career Exploration: Interactive museum exhibits, career exploration activities, and educational experiences introduce youth to diverse careers, entrepreneurship, and future possibilities.

Business Start-Up & Entrepreneurship: BAM offers Business Action & Mentorship (BAM) classes, workshops, mentoring, and resources to help aspiring entrepreneurs develop business ideas, understand the fundamentals of starting a business, and move toward launching their ventures.

Small Business Resource Center: BAM connects entrepreneurs and small business owners with business resources, training, technical assistance, funding opportunities, and community partners to help businesses start, grow, and succeed.

Women’s Entrepreneurship & Fellowship: BAM provides women entrepreneurs with educational workshops, mentorship, networking, professional development, and opportunities to build supportive business relationships.

Community Education & Partnerships: BAM collaborates with local businesses, nonprofits, educational institutions, workforce organizations, and community leaders to provide workshops, events, and resources that expand access to career, business, and economic opportunities.

Through these programs, BAM serves youth, aspiring entrepreneurs, women in business, small business owners, and community members, with an emphasis on creating accessible opportunities for individuals to learn, connect, and “Be Anything.”

The Be Anything Museum & Business Resource Center (BAM) primarily serves youth, aspiring entrepreneurs, women entrepreneurs, small business owners, and community members throughout the Central Valley.

BAM provides youth with opportunities to explore careers, develop confidence, and envision possibilities for their future. Aspiring entrepreneurs and small business owners receive access to business education, mentorship, resources, networking, and connections that can help them start, strengthen, and grow their businesses. BAM also prioritizes women in business, providing opportunities for leadership development, professional growth, mentorship, and supportive peer connections.

BAM is committed to making these opportunities accessible to individuals who may have limited access to traditional business, career, or educational resources. Through partnerships with community organizations, schools, businesses, workforce agencies, and other local stakeholders, BAM extends its reach to individuals and families throughout the region.

Ultimately, BAM serves people who are seeking inspiration, education, resources, mentorship, and opportunities to build a stronger future—whether that means exploring a career, starting a business, growing a business, or discovering that they truly can “Be Anything.”

Funding & Grant Guidelines

Funding priorities
The Be Anything Museum & Business Resource Center (BAM) seeks funding to expand programs and services that inspire youth, empower entrepreneurs, strengthen small businesses, and create pathways to economic opportunity in the Central Valley.

Our primary funding priorities include:

Youth Career Exploration & Workforce Development – Supporting hands-on career exploration, educational programming, mentorship, and exposure to diverse career pathways that help young people envision and prepare for their futures.

Entrepreneurship & Business Start-Up Education – Providing no-cost or low-cost business education, mentorship, workshops, and resources to aspiring entrepreneurs and individuals interested in starting a business.
Small Business Support & Economic Development – Helping small business owners access resources, training, technical assistance, funding opportunities, and professional networks that support business growth, sustainability, and job creation.
Women’s Entrepreneurship & Leadership – Expanding programs that provide women entrepreneurs with education, mentorship, networking, professional development, and opportunities to build successful businesses and leadership skills.

Community Access & Inclusive Opportunities – Ensuring that individuals who may face financial, educational, or other barriers have access to resources and opportunities that support personal and economic advancement.
Museum Exhibits & Educational Programming – Developing interactive exhibits and programs that demonstrate that career possibilities are limitless and encourage children, families, and community members to explore what they can become.

Funding will help BAM expand program capacity, provide educational resources and materials, offer scholarships or no-cost participation, strengthen community partnerships, and reach more youth, entrepreneurs, women, and small businesses throughout the Central Valley.
