The Kitchener and Waterloo Community Foundation - Waterloo Region Record and Lyle S. Hallman Foundation Kids To Camp Fund
Grants ranging from $1,000 to $10,000 to Ontario, Canada nonprofit organizations that operate day, overnight, recreational, or educational camps for children and youth who reside in the Kitchener and Waterloo area. Pre-Screen Applications are due by February 22. Funding is intended to enable organizations to provide day or residential camping opportunities to children and youth (under 18) who are in need of financial assistance or require specialized support to attend camp.

What the Fund Supports:
- Camps that provide day or residential camping opportunities to children and youth who reside in Kitchener, Waterloo and area and are in need of financial assistance or who require specialized support so they can attend camp
- Camps that serve children under the age of 18 from the community-at-large including children with special needs (e.g. physical or mental challenges, major illness, survivors or witnesses of violence)
- Priority for funding will be given to organizations that work with children and youth year round.
What the Fund does not support:
- Individuals are not allowed to apply. Organizations that work with eligible children must apply on their behalf.

Pre-Screen Due: February 22, 2018, Midnight
Application Due: February 28, 2018, Midnight
Decision Announced by: April 9, 2018
